These Terms of Service explain how Guardian Wash provides quotes, bookings and exterior cleaning services across Queenstown, Wanaka and surrounding areas.

By requesting a quote, booking a service, or using our website, you agree to the terms below.

Services We Provide

Guardian Wash provides exterior cleaning services including:

  • Roof Cleaning & Treatment

  • Building Washing
  • Exterior cleaning packages and related services

Quotes and Pricing

Any prices shown on our website are starting prices only unless confirmed otherwise in writing.

Our house washing packages are based on single-level homes under 120m² of floor area.

Final pricing may change depending on:

  • Property size
  • Number of storeys
  • Height
  • Access
  • Surface condition
  • Roof type and condition
  • Gutter condition
  • Driveway, path or footpath size
  • Water source availability
  • Rainwater collection systems
  • Service requirements
  • Location
  • Health and safety requirements

We will confirm final pricing after reviewing your property details, photos, access and service requirements.

3.

Package Information

Guardian Wash offers three main house washing packages:

Essential Package:

House Soft Wash and Neutralising Rinse + Gutter Clean and Flush.

Standard Package:

House Soft Wash and Neutralising Rinse + Gutter Clean and Flush + Roof Cleaning & Treatment.

Elite Package:

House Soft Wash and Neutralising Rinse + Gutter Clean and Flush + Roof Cleaning & Treatment + Path Wash + Driveway & Footpath Wash.

Package inclusions may be adjusted if your property is larger, multi-storey, difficult to access, outside standard service scope, or requires additional cleaning.

4.

Bookings

Bookings are subject to availability, weather, access and service requirements.

We may need to reschedule a booking due to:

  • Unsafe weather
  • Heavy rain or wind
  • Access issues
  • Equipment issues
  • Staff availability
  • Health and safety concerns
  • Conditions that make the service unsuitable on the day

If this happens, we will contact you to arrange another suitable time.

5.

Access and Customer Responsibilities

Before we arrive, please make reasonable efforts to:

  • Close windows and doors
  • Unlock gates
  • Move vehicles where needed
  • Bring pets inside or keep them safely away from work areas
  • Move delicate outdoor items where practical
  • Let us know about delicate plants
  • Let us know about rainwater tanks or roof water collection
  • Ensure we can access an outdoor water source if required
  • Tell us about any known property issues, leaks, damage or fragile surfaces

You are responsible for telling us about any areas that may need special care.

6.

Water Source

Some services require access to a suitable outdoor water source. If a water source is not available or is difficult to access, please tell us before the service. This may affect pricing, timing or service availability.

7.

Rainwater Collection

If you collect rainwater from your roof, you must tell us before any roof cleaning, roof treatment, gutter cleaning or exterior washing work begins. We will factor this into the cleaning process and provide advice where appropriate.

8.

Plants, Pets and Outdoor Areas

We take reasonable care around plants, pets and outdoor areas.

Where suitable, we may rinse nearby plants and vegetation before and after soft washing. Please tell us about delicate plants, ponds, pets, livestock or sensitive areas before the service.

Pets and children should be kept safely away from work areas during the service.

9.

Photos and Quote Accuracy

Photos help us provide a more accurate quote, but they may not show every detail of the property.

If site conditions are different from what was shown in the photos or quote information, pricing, timing or service recommendations may need to be adjusted.

10.

Results and Limitations

We aim to provide a high standard of workmanship and presentation.

However, final results can vary depending on:

  • Age of surfaces
  • Surface condition
  • Existing staining
  • Oxidation
  • Paint condition
  • Previous damage
  • Porous materials
  • Heavy organic growth
  • Weather exposure
  • Drainage and shading

Some stains, marks, oxidation, damage or growth may not be fully removed. Roof treatments may continue working over time, and results may not be instant.

11.

Existing Damage

Guardian Wash is not responsible for pre-existing damage, deterioration, poor paint condition, leaks, loose fittings, fragile materials, failing surfaces, or water ingress caused by existing property defects.

If we notice a concern, we may let you know where practical.

12.

Health and Safety

We reserve the right to refuse or reschedule work if we believe conditions are unsafe. This may include unsafe access, extreme weather, unstable surfaces, electrical risks, difficult roof access, aggressive animals or other hazards.

13.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.

Guardian Wash may also reschedule work due to weather, safety concerns, access problems or circumstances outside our control.

14.

Payment

Payment terms will be confirmed with your quote or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due by the date shown on the invoice.

15.

We aim to keep website information accurate and up to date.

However, service descriptions, prices, package inclusions and availability may change from time to time. Website content is general information only and does not replace a confirmed written quote.

Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any rights you may have under New Zealand consumer law.
